The only class I haven't really levelled is a mage (my highest is 24). Apart from my level 45 shaman and a 64 death knight, I have levelled all other classes to at least level 70. Out of the other classes, these are the one I think are the easiest and why.
Things that make levelling easy ....
They have a pet that can tank mobs.
They can regen health or heal themselves during combat.
They can regen mana during combat, if they use it.
They can self-rez.
They can take on multiple targets at once and not die.
For those reasons, these are the classes I think are easiest.
1. Warlock
Has a tanking pet, can heal the pet, can regen both mana and health during combat, can self-rez.
2. Paladin
Can regen both mana and health during combat, hardly ever dies so doesn't miss the self-rez, can take on multiple targets at once.
3. Hunter
Has a tanking pet, can heal the pet, can regen mana during combat.
4. Druid / Death Knight / Shaman
Druids as kitty will have mana to heal when they need it. Can also escape mobs quickly if needed.
Death Knights can regen health and take on multiple mobs at once.
Shamans can regen both mana and health during combat, as well as self-heal and self-rez. They can also escape quickly from mobs if needed.
5. Shadow Priest
Can regen both mana and health during combat, and can self-heal.
Most annoying to level.
In my experience, and it may be because for the last 5 years my mains have been casters and healers, the most annoying classes for me to level have been the non-healing melee classes Rogue and Warrior.
WORST
1. Rogue and Warrior !
